Warranty Policy

Our comprehensive warranty policy is designed to give you peace of mind and assurance that the repair work we did for you will last. We stand behind our work and are committed to providing our customers with the best possible service.

1. General Concerns:

By accepting service from VM Service Tech, you agree to the warranty conditions outlined in this policy.

This includes up to a 1-Year Limited Warranty on Parts and a 90-Day Warranty on Labor, which are applicable from the date of service, provided that the appliance was operated and maintained according to the manufacturer’s manual.

The warranty on parts is limited by the warranty offered by the manufacturers or part suppliers.

If parts or workmanship are found to be faulty, VM Service Tech will cover the cost of parts replacement and labor to correct the issues.

VM Service Tech uses electronic payment methods. Clients receive electronic copies of invoices and payment receipts, which serve as proof of service. The company can verify job information and the date of work through its software. No other forms of proof, such as witnesses, or pictures, will be accepted as evidence of service under this limited warranty.

Parts replaced under warranty do not carry an additional warranty, and all subsequent parts replaced will have the same expiration date as the originally replaced part.

2. Conditions of Warranty:

The warranty is valid only if the appliance has been operated and maintained according to the manufacturer’s manual.

The warranty does not cover any issues arising from misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, or accidental damage.

The warranty will not be in effect if any foreign objects enter the pump, motors, or any other mechanical part. The warranty does not cover any clogs of any kind.

The warranty will not be in effect due to damage caused directly or indirectly by the customer.

The warranty is void if repairs or modifications are attempted by anyone other than VM Service Tech’s authorized technicians.

3. Items Excluded from Warranty:

This limited warranty does not cover the following:

Replacement parts or repair labor if the appliance is not used in a normal single-family household setting or is used in a manner not mentioned in the user manual.

Consumable parts such as air filters, water filters, light bulbs, and other non-functional or cosmetic parts including trims, glass cooktops, knobs, oven door glass, panels, tanks, racks, tubs, baskets, doors, door liners, shelves, structural parts, or parts that may be damaged by abnormal usage.

Commercial use, including rental properties, which are only covered for 90 days on parts and associated labor.

Service calls to correct installation issues, instruct on appliance use, and service calls to replace water filters, air filters, or bulbs.

Damage resulting from accident, alteration, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, improper installation, an installation that does not comply with plumbing or electrical codes, or the use of chemicals not approved by the manufacturer is also excluded.

Cosmetic damage, including dents, scratches, chips, or other damage to the appliance finish, is not covered. Manipulations and mechanical operations during service may result in minor wear and tear, such as cracks, dents, and scratches, which may be unavoidable due to the age, corrosion, or material quality. This is considered acknowledged by the customer at the time of service acceptance and is not claimable.

Damage to parts replaced resulting from unauthorized modifications made to the appliance or installation is not covered.

4. Parts No Longer Available:

VM Service Tech’s obligation under this warranty expires if the part installed and under warranty is no longer available from the original manufacturer.

5. Limitation of Remedies and Exclusion of Accidental and Extensive Damages:

Your sole remedy under this limited warranty shall be product repair as provided here. VM Service Tech shall not be responsible for accidental or extensive damages.

We assume no liability nor make any guarantee for any loss, including food loss, torn, stained, or burned clothes, broken furniture, moldings, or flooring occurring while servicing or moving the appliance.

6. Warranty Cancellation:

VM Service Tech reserves the right to void the warranty if a balance due remains unpaid after 30 days or if the customer’s payment is denied or returned by their bank. Automatic cancellation will occur if an account is sent to a collection agency.

If a client has failed to follow the manufacturer’s instructions or has abused the appliance, the warranty may not cover the repair service. In such cases, the customer may be responsible for the full cost of the repair service.

Work performed by the customer or another service company on the appliance will lead to the cancellation of the warranty offered.

In the event of dryer repair, the technician will check the ventilation system’s adequacy and inform you at the end of the work. If the dryer ventilation system becomes obstructed during the warranty period, the warranty becomes void, as damage to the appliance is caused by external factors, not the replaced parts. Security parts do not carry any guarantee. The client must have their ventilation system cleaned by a recognized expert in the field.

7. Customer-Supplied Parts:

The warranty does not cover parts supplied by the customer.

We only provide warranty coverage for parts that we source directly from our trusted suppliers. This ensures that the parts meet quality standards and are backed by the manufacturer’s or supplier’s warranty.

Any issues arising from the use of customer-supplied parts will not be eligible for repair or replacement under our warranty policy.

8. Maintenance Work:

No warranty is offered on maintenance or cleaning work.
