You should expect to pay a service call fee that includes both the trip fee and diagnostic fee. This is the cost of having a professional come to your home and assess the issue with your appliance. The technician will then provide you with an estimate of how much it will cost to repair or replace the appliance.

We charge a flat rate for the service call that is non-refundable, and it is important to understand that the service call fee is separate from the cost of repair and does not go toward it.

If repair work is required, we charge a flat rate for labor, regardless of the time it takes to complete the job. We believe that this is a fair and honest policy, as it ensures that our customers are not charged for any unexpected delays or complications that may arise during the repair process. Our goal is to provide our customers with the highest quality repair services at the most competitive prices, and we believe that our flat-rate pricing policy helps us achieve this goal.

VM Service Tech determines its appliance repair and installation service rates based on a flat-rate pricing model. This model takes into account various factors such as the type of appliance, the complexity of the repair or installation, and the required labor.

Yes, VM Service Tech technicians accept payment on-site using payment terminals. Customers can choose between Credit Card or Interac Debit for payment.

Receipts are typically delivered to customers after service completion either via email or text message, based on the customer’s preference.

We always strive to complete repairs during our initial visit to your home. However, in some cases, a follow-up appointment may be necessary to complete the repair. If a follow-up appointment is required, we do not charge any additional fees for the visit.

If a major appliance repair is needed, VM Service Tech will provide customers with an estimate to review before proceeding with the repair. This allows customers to make an informed decision about the repair costs.

The payment requirements for ordering parts can vary depending on the specific circumstances. In the case of special factory orders, where the parts are not typically eligible for return, it is generally necessary for the customer to pre-pay for those parts.

No, it is not possible to provide an accurate quote for appliance repair over the phone. Repair costs can vary greatly depending on the type of appliance, the extent of the damage, and any necessary replacement parts.

In order to provide an accurate quote, a technician needs to inspect the appliance in person. This allows them to identify the specific issue, determine the parts and labor required for the repair, and provide an estimate for the cost of the service.

Attempting to diagnose and quote a repair over the phone can result in inaccuracies, leading to unexpected costs and delays in completing the repair. It is best to have a technician inspect the appliance in person to ensure an accurate quote and efficient repair.

Beyond the initial service rate, customers should be aware of any applicable taxes, fees for additional services requested during the repair process, and the deposit required for ordered parts.

Keep in mind that the repair time can also be influenced by factors beyond the technician’s control, such as the need to order replacement parts that are not readily available. In such cases, the repair process may be delayed until the necessary parts arrive.

In the event of unexpected complications during the repair process, VM Service Tech technicians will communicate with the customer to discuss the situation and any necessary adjustments to the repair plan or cost. Customers can trust that VM Service Tech will address any issues promptly and professionally.
